When most people think of vineyards, Ireland isn\u2019t usually the first country that comes to mind. Rolling green fields, historic castles, and wild Atlantic coastlines – yes. Rows of grapevines producing wines that rival Europe\u2019s great regions? That\u2019s a newer story, but one that\u2019s quickly gaining momentum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Irish Wine Estates, we\u2019re proud to be part of this exciting chapter. As climate, innovation, and ambition combine, vineyards in Ireland are proving that our island has the potential to craft truly distinctive wines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the past two decades, small but pioneering vineyards have begun to take root, particularly in the southeast and east, where the climate is most favourable. Our own project in Offaly is part of this wave. With still wines expected from 2029 and sparkling wines from 2032, we\u2019re investing in the land, the vines and the expertise needed to create wines that tell a distinctly Irish story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
