Cookie Policy

Last updated 15 September 2026

This policy explains the cookies used on the Irish Wine Estates website and how you can control them.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Some are needed for a site to work; others help the owner understand how the site is used.

Essential cookies

These keep the website working and secure — for example, remembering your cookie choices, protecting our forms from spam, and keeping website administrators signed in. They cannot be switched off in our cookie banner.

Analytics cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website, such as which pages are visited and how people arrive. This helps us improve the site. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies using our cookie banner.

Third-party content

Google Maps: the map on our Plan Your Visit page only loads when you click "Show the map". Google may set cookies once it loads.
Social networks and WhatsApp: links to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and WhatsApp take you to those services, which set their own cookies under their own policies.

Managing cookies

You can change your choices at any time using the cookie banner, and you can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the website from working.

For how we handle personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
